Our Zinc whipped tallow begins with suet sourced from White Oak Pastures in Bluffton, Georgia, a regenerative farm renowned for its purity and ethical land practices. This variant is fortified with non-nano zinc oxide, chosen for its gentle, mineral-based protective qualities and suitable for those seeking a clean, uncomplicated balm free from essential oils.
-
To transform this suet into a truly cosmetic-grade tallow, we use a meticulous multi-stage purification sequence. The fat is gently cleansed through successive salt-water, vinegar-water, baking-soda, and distilled-water baths. It is then slow-rendered and passed through ultra-fine mesh filtration to remove impurities while preserving the tallow’s natural integrity, producing a smooth, immaculate base found only in high-end apothecary formulations.
-
The refined tallow is warmed gently at low temperatures to preserve its natural richness, then blended with organic cold-pressed jojoba oil into which we disperse approximately 15% non-nano zinc oxide for even coverage and a smooth mineral finish. After cooling, the mixture is whipped into a soft, airy texture without any added scents or botanicals, creating a clean, versatile balm suitable for daily comfort.

This soothing mineral-rich balm helps calm areas of discomfort while providing a soft, silky layer that supports the skin’s natural barrier. The feel is creamy, velvety, and lightly cushioned, with a neutral aroma reflective only of its pure ingredients. Ideal for those seeking a gentle, fragrance-free option with mineral support for sensitive or reactive skin types.
